How to delete your DreamIQ account and data

1 How to Delete Your Account

1 Open the DreamIQ app on your device
2 Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
3 Scroll down to Data & Privacy section
4 Tap on Privacy
5 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account in the Danger Zone
6 Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion

2 What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

All sleep sessions and tracking data
AI coach conversations and personalized insights
Personal preferences and settings
Account information (email, profile)
Subscription information (your active subscription will remain until expiration)

3 30-Day Grace Period

We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. That's why we offer a 30-day grace period after you request account deletion.

Your account will be scheduled for deletion 30 days from your request
You can cancel the deletion at any time during this period
You'll receive email notifications with instructions to cancel
After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted

4 Export Your Data (Optional)

Before deleting your account, we recommend downloading your data . This includes all your sleep sessions, insights, and AI interactions in JSON format.

You can find the "Download My Data" button on the account deletion screen.

Note: This is in compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations. Your data belongs to you!

Important: Active Subscriptions

If you have an active premium subscription (through Apple App Store or Google Play Store):

Your subscription will remain active until expiration
You must cancel your subscription separately through Apple or Google to avoid future charges
No refunds will be issued for remaining subscription time after account deletion
